Our new MMX mission mark
The new mission mark for the Martian Moons eXploration (MMX) mission has been selected! The chosen concept shows the different aspects of the mission as concentric rings:
The design focusses on Mars and the MMX spacecraft. From there, the circle expands outwards. We see the rings of the orbits of Phobos and Deimos, followed by a segmented blue ring for the Earth that represents the five international organisations (*). The final encompassing orange ring represents the MMX mission. This is a symbol of people coming together, and making the circle bigger and bigger.
The mission mark will be used in many different situations on our journey to the Martian moons. Do look out for it!
